“Direct Site Services”, Bristol: proverbial V-sign

“Direct Site Services Ltd” burglar alarm, Bristol • Well, this arrow may be making the proverbial V-sign, but the logo is otherwise completely basic. I can’t find any evidence that this firm still exists in an operational sense, though they’re still listed at Companies House. • Spotted: Town centre, Bristol, Avon, BS1, England, 2007 • Politics: In the Liberal Democrat constituency of Bristol West

    • Hi Andy – thanks for the pics you sent. I hadn’t come across one of the “old style” boxes, though I’ve seen several of your current ones. I tried to email you but although I am using the correct address for some reason they always bounce back as “undeliverable”. The email said that the reason I haven’t featured your box yet is because it falls in the “monograms” category, which I keep putting off because it is big and complicated. But you have nudged me to tackle it so hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer. Also, if you could email me a little background – eg what does AAI stand for, anything you know about the logo (such as who designed it, how long ago etc), I can include some fact rather than my customary waffle!

      • Hi Vickie,

I have emailed you some info about us on the email address I used the other day.

I look forward to seeeing us ‘Featured’ :)

        Kind regards
