Securitech, Islington: football shirt

Securitech

“Securitech” burglar alarm, Islington • Today we move from science to technology, one of burglar alarm land’s favourite tropes. I really like this striking old design, which looks like a stripy football shirt. • Spotted: Camden Passage, Islington, London, N1, England, 2011 • Politics: In the Labour constituency of Islington South and Finsbury

  1. This doesn’t look like cover as been removed since it was fitted. Because the centre retaining screw is still covered by what looks like the original securitech sticker. Just proves that the older system are basically trouble free compared to today technology’s. And I would of though the rscb inside (if fitted) would more than likely still be working / charging today. The newer nicad type battery’s in today boxes are not much good after 3-5 years.
