Castle Security, Edinburgh: scuppered

Castle Security

“Castle Security” burglar alarm, Edinburgh • Another logo scuppered by the giant circuit board beneath it. Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to what these circuit boards are for. • Spotted: Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, EH2, Scotland, 2012 • Politics: In the Labour constituency of Edinburgh North and Leith

  1. Hi Vici

Not sure if this has been answered already, but the printed circuit board effectively gives the standard Eurobell a strobe light. Before these were used, Companies had to screw a light underneath, as you will have seen previously.

Hope that answers your question. Hoping to see some more Mercury Security Systems bells featured soon.

    Best Regards
