Possibly obvious to those that already know but what are these obvious reasons for those of us who have no idea?
Going up and photographing a burglar alarm on a giant mosque just didn’t seem like a very good idea, especially as I didn’t have a headscarf. I’m always wary of photographing burglar alarms abroad anyway, as obviously it could look pretty suspicious and I couldn’t explain myself in a foreign language. Which is why I haven’t got very many shots of them. Venice isn’t so bad because everyone’s a tourist there and everyone takes photos of everything.
