  1. The best condition group 4 bell box like the one above I have seen in on an Iceland store in Swansea City center. Its under a covered pathway and looks as good as the day it was installed. There used to be a group 4 office in Bristol. I can’t remember exactly where it was but last time i went past it there was still a Group 4 branded access control swipe card reader on the front door.

  2. Used to be a G4S one on an ex-shop (then office) on Cumberland Basin Road in Bristol, just google mapped it and the shop has been tarted up and the bellbox swept away. Boo!

  3. I think you could be right Andy. I certainly haven’t seen a Moderns box like this one before. You are correct that Group 4 Securitas used this type of bell box. Moderns replaced most of them with the familiar yellow moderns box but this one has slipped through the net. Very rare find.

  4. I could be, and probably am wrong, but it looks to me as if, this bell cover was a replacement for a Group 4 (well before the days of G4S) alarm. Modern Alarm took over the alarms of Group 4 back in the day. Group 4 used these bells.
