Fairworld Alarm, Whitley Bay, 2013

“Fairworld Alarm” burglar alarm, Whitley Bay • I always like an alarm with a world globe on. And, given I live in London, I’m rather proud to have got as far north west as Whitley Bay on the burglar alarm hunt (albeit I was only there for an hour or so). • Spotted: Whitley Road, Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, NE26, England, 2013 • Politics: In the Labour constituency of Tynemouth

  1. They were set up and owned by an organisation that owned a lot of amusement arcades and funfairs. Trading mainly in the North East, their GM was Eric Waite, a good Durham lad who had been the branch manager for Chubb Alarms Newcastle. .Hence, Andy, the similarities. They were NSCIA and installed to a high standard. Sold off probably about 20 years back.
