Nameless taped alarm, Tower Hamlets, 2010

Nameless taped burglar alarm, Tower Hamlets • So now for one of my most pathetic categories, taped burglar alarms. This one looks a bit like the Tube logo. • Spotted: Fairfield Road, Tower Hamlets, London, E3, England, 2010 • Politics: In the Labour constituency of Bethnal Green and Bow

  1. What appears to have happened here to this DIY installed looking Odyssey is that someone has drilled a 5omm hole in the front and then taped the cutout piece back in place for some reason. How strange.

      • Maybe it’s a cuckoo clock? Have to say I was a bit disappointed by this category, there I was expecting siren sound recordings onto a vintage walkman…

      • I’m intrigued as to what the hole was for. It doesn’t appear to have been installed with a hole in it and it wasn’t at street level as I first suspected so not an easy target for random hole drillers to attack.
