Nameless taped alarm, Islington, 2008

Nameless taped burglar alarm, Islington • It must have been an ADT. I found this on the Finsbury Health Centre in Clerkenwell, an architecturally important, but sadly crumbling, Grade 1 listed modernist icon designed by Berthold Lubetkin in the 1930s.  • Spotted: Finsbury Health Centre, Pine Street, Islington, London, EC1, England, 2008 • Politics: In the Labour constituency of Islington South and Finsbury

  1. Strangely found one in chipping norton today, just like this but having trouble copying link from streetview.

    • I was having trouble with that the other day, gave up in the end as Google love moving things around to make things difficult and pointlessly ludicrous for users. They are idiots.

  2. Perhaps they had an argument with ADT and so covered up the advertisement logo out of spite – would of been better to change the whole box as we all know what it says under the messy disguise!

  3. ADT rather than Modern as it has a blue strobe, and the Modern logo covered nearly the whole box. Really odd that someone would want to cover it over. Shame about the building, bits are literally falling off by the looks of things.
