Lander Alarms

Lander Alarms, Stonegate, York, Yorkshire, England, 2011 • Although I’ve published a few Landers (featuring a clever double L logo), none of the boxes were quite like this.

  1. Just seen one of these in Southmead, Bristol – above a Spar type shop. Suspect it survived as it was too high up to bother when the system was replaced for ADT etc…

    • I’m sure it was a bell, electronic sounders/speakers were still a few years away, can anyone remember which year they started replacing bells.

  2. The new box with no strobe that was introduced around 1984/5 a few years after they were acquired by RMC. Around 1990 this box was used by SP (The Security Partnership), the General manager was ex Lander Alarms.
