  1. I commented twice about ADK on 23 March 2013, the box above is one of their early ones or a takeover, their most popular box was the Oydessey 3E, do you have a picture of that type Vici. Try Ralph Lauren’s shops in Bond Street or schools in south east London

    • So you did Mike, the link is here: https://burglaralarmbritain.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/adk-bolton/
I didn’t connect the two, as the logo is so different. And of course they are different companies. To recap your comment, ADK on this box stands for the founders, Anthony and Donna Kingsley. I don’t think I have any other shots of this ADK’s sounders, I’ll keep my eyes open for an Odyssey 3E version! As I understand it from your previous comments, this is a common box but ADK’s has a unique mauve strobe colour. Although if it means I have to photograph Ralph Lauren shops or schools, I am either going to look like a burglar or a perv!

      • How the name ADK arrived at might not be correct, but it makes sense. I’m friends with Donna Kingsley on Facebook and have shared it with her this afternoon so might get an interesting comment back or even better a picture of the box which I’m sure she has on her house.

  2. Also one letter away from AOK and ACK, and both physically closer to ADK. One letter away from ark as well, but this is as far away from ADK as ADT is is from a design perspective.

So yeah, lots to think about there.
